Bereavement Committee/ Support/Companioning Group
Those who have lost a loved one know that their lives have been changed
forever. People who are grieving often feel emotional and social
isolation, anger, and loss of vigor for life. Being with others who
have gone through the same thing can be very comforting. Together with several other parishes in the Lancaster Deanery, seasonal support groups
are now being offered and meet once a week for four/six consecutive weeks. The companioning group makes initial phone contact with the bereaved.
